Ascending terminals into the antennal mechansosensory neuropil (posterior to the antennal lobe) and the ascending neuropil of the deutocerebrum (deut asc neu). The neurons were filled anterogradely from the neck connective, using cobalt nitrate that was with silver intensification after fixation.
Ascending terminals entering the lateral deutocerebrum via the lateral deutocerebral fascicle (l deu fasc). Note the large mechanosensory axon that extends into the thoracic ganglia from where these neurons were filled with cobalt nitrate.
