At this plane, the ventrolateral protocerebrum and medial protocerebrum can be seen. The glomeruli of the antennal lobe can be seen at the anterior surface. The optic lobe are revealed from medial to lateral; the lobula, lobula plate, inner chiasma, medulla, and lamina.
