Here, the antennal nerve can be seen entering and supplying the antennal lobe. Posterior to this the antennomechanosensory region is bordered laterally by the ventrolateral protocerebrum. The optic lobe is revealed from medial to lateral; the lobula, lobula plate, inner chiasma, medulla, outer chiasma and lamina.
