Frontal section showing the beta lobes of the mushroom body. A bilateral output (efferent) neuron from the left and right beta lobes of the mushroom bodies. Similar in form to the efferent from the gamma lobes (and at the same magnification), this neuron reflects the characteristic outline of beta and has finer dendrites than its gamma counterpart.
