The anterior dorsal commissure (a.d.c) is the most frontal connection between the two halves of the brain. Also, at this level, the lobulate swellings from the gamma lobes indicate the level at which the protocerebrum is divided into its superior and inferior components (super medial protocerebrum: s.m.pr).
