The abdominal lineage of NB 2-4 consists of 7 to 8 neurons in the dorsal cortex. 2 to 3 of them have been shifted medially in all cases. The projections extend ipsilaterally and contralaterally across the anterior commissure to exit the ventral ganglion through the anterior root of the intersegmental nerve. Endplates have not been detected.
