The thoracic lineage is composed of 10 to 14 interneurons in the dorsal and dorsolateral cortex, projecting contralaterally and ipsilaterally. Additionally, 3 to 5 glial cells are present. The two V-SPGs and the L-SPG have been observed in all cases while the CBG and the D-SPG have not always been present. Light colours mark ventral positions, dark colours dorsal positions of glial cells. The lineage was able to be double stained with anti-gooseberry proximal (anti-gsb-p) antibody.
