The NB 6-1 clone consists of 10 to 16 interneurons forming a tight cluster in the ventromedial cortex. They form ipsilateral posterior projections (6-1Ii) and send a fascicle through the posterior commissure that bifurcates in the contralateral connective (6-1Ic).
