This line stains several regions:

The dorsal groups of cell bodies send projections to the tip of the mushroom body beta and gamma lobes and also send long projections laterally, and ventrally into the lateral protocerebrum.

Laterally several large cell bodies also send projections to the lateral protocerebrum where they form a diffuse network with those from the mushroom bodies.

Medially and more ventrally, a group of small cell bodies send processes to a group of dorsal glomeruli within the antennal lobes.

Some diffuse staining can be observed in the optic lobes and in the suboesophageal ganglion.
