When UAS-irreC-rst is misexpressed during the differentiation of the ring neurons, it is localized in their axonal terminals forming the outer ring of the ellipsoid body.

Targeted IrreC-rst misexpression in enhancer trap line Mz507

Here UAS-irreC-rst is misexpressed in several structures of the pupal central brain. Its misexpression in these structures causes no obvious structural defects.
